5 Trendy Ways to Cover Up At The Beach
One of my favorite parts of getting ready for a day at the beach is putting together the perfect outfit. I love assembling the right swimsuit, hat, sunglasses, and sandals. No outfit is complete without the right cover-up. Below I will tell you about five trendy ways to cover-up at the beach, including one of my go-to kimono cover-ups.
#1 Short & Sassy Kaftan
Backless and beautiful, the Easy Breezy Short-Embroidered Beach Kafan is flattering on all body types, and its semi-sheer draping effect and flowy sleeves create a gorgeous silhouette. It can be worn as a cover-up or styled with shorts or skinny jeans for an essential and chic day look. Its banded waist pattern creates a cinched look that highlights every figure. A short kaftan with a low back shows just the right amount of skin.
#2 Embroidered Beach Dress
Lightweight and effortlessly cool, a beach dress like the Bliss on the Beach – Embroidered Beach Dress has delicate embroidered geometric patterns with subtle sexy cutouts and a straight back panel that shows off your shoulders and back. It is the perfect little dress for throwing in your beach bag and looks great with a pair of sandals for grabbing lunch with friends. I love a beach dress when I know I will be transitioning from the beach to going out.
#3 Long Length Kaftan
There are times at the beach when you want something with a little more fabric and a longer length to cover most of your legs. The Udaipur – Embroidered Long Kaftan Dress is the ideal long kaftan. In a crisp, chic white, the deep front opening, puff sleeves with elasticated sleeve opening, and high side slits make it an easy day-to-night look. Swap out your bikini top for a beautiful bralette, and throw on a pair of heels to complete the look.
#4 Feminine Lace Kimono
The Cover Me Up – Allover Embroidered Oversized Kimono may be one of the most beautiful kimono cover-ups I have seen. Great for all body types, it has flowy slight sheer fabric patches and delicate lace inserts that give it a sexy, feminine vibe. With a modern silhouette, this beach kimono will become a classic and find its way onto the beach year after year. Beach Kimonos are a fantastic cover-up option that lets you quickly throw something on without having to overthink it.
#5 A Simplistic Set
What’s better than a tank dress or kimono as a beach cover-up? A set that has both! The Drift Away – Kimono and Beach Dress Set has Scandinavian simplicity and functionality with its cotton-linen blend and limitless style options. Worn together or separate, it is a beautiful set that can be worn as just the dress while the sun is up and with the kimono when the sun sets and your shoulders and arms get a bit chilly. This set is one of my favorite trendy beach cover-ups.
